HOA concedes regarding fence installation for disabled child

Shared By Deborah Goonan

Commentary: This is an update from an earlier report about the Espirit HOA in St. Cloud, FL. The Seekings family was engaged in a dispute with their HOA over the installation of a vinyl fence on their property. The HOA denied Seekings first request, despite the fact that the family has a disabled son. After media attention that shed light on the family’s rights under the Fair Housing Act, and a second letter from the boy’s physician, the HOA has now approved the fence.

Thank you, Louis Bolden, for reporting this family’s story.
