Brrr!!! Break out the warm mittens, as we revisit Marine Towers East, Lakewood, Ohio.
Condo residents still have no central heat, and are still using space heaters.
Despite the fire hazard and the fact that the Condo Association appears to be ignoring a building codes deadline, City officials are not willing to displace condo residents.
Old heating pipes are still broken. Special assessment payments must begin as of Feb 1.

Owner Pam McKenna says the steep fees will “bankrupt” her and many of her neighbors.
The dispute will likely end up in court, adding to owner costs.
Unlawful space heaters will remain at Lakewood condo for now
